WORK EXPERIENCE

Personal â€‹

My main strengths are adaptability, dependability and the determination to get a job done as proven by my varied work experiences in promotions, customer services, hospitality, and patient care. I try to learn something new from every experience because I believe there is always room for improvement both personally and professionally. I am able to handle difficult situations with sensitivity and tact. I have worked with a diverse range of colleagues and clients.

Trainee

I completed an 8 week BBC Make It Digital Traineeship in May, which was an intense 6 week class based environment and 2 weeks on work placement, I did mine with National Express. This including making e-portfolio's, film and documentary making, employability skills and many other aspects of the business world. The learning provider for this traineeship is Creative Alliance and after the 8 weeks they offered me a full time apprenticeship in digital marketing, which is where I am now.

Heron Foods: September 2012 – December 2014

I was employed on a three day contract as a supervisor at Heron Foods; my responsibilities included; working on a till, managing stock levels, electronic ordering and putting away deliveries. I dealt with complaints, enquiries, cashing up of tills and stock takes. I had a team of 7 - 9 employees that I had to manage and ensure were doing their job to the highest of standards in order to keep the shop running with good time management. This job required me to interact with the public and I have learnt a high level of customer service due to the wide range of people that came and went every day. It is a very busy shop and required a lot of physical work.

I travelled there unaccompanied to join a team of eleven other international staff who I had not met before. I had responsibility for the full needs of three campers each week. I assisted them with toileting, personal care, feeding, administering medication and monitoring their health needs. The campers had a variety of diagnoses such as; autism, severe learning disability, amputation, severe epilepsy, deaf, blind and non-verbal. We assisted our clients during various activities; art and craft, swimming, trips to theme parks and restaurants.
